Members of naturist clubs from coast to coast took part in a collective nude swim to set a world record today.

Last year’s event set a record, as 13,674 people at 139 locations across the continent went skinny dipping at the same time.

While trying to set a new Guinness Book world record for the largest skinny dip, nudists all across the country packed themselves in pools.

Guinness recently classified the skinny dip as an official challenge, which means it had to be overseen by an approved witness and well organized.

The activity was part of an entire week of nude activities organized by the American Association for Nude Recreation.
